Immigration Evaluations

Immigration

We offer mental health evaluations and psychological evaluations for immigration purposes. I am a psychotherapist appropriately trained in completing specific types of evaluations for immigration petitions.

 Immigration evaluations offered include:

  • VAWA Evaluations (Violence Against Women Act Immigration Petitions)
  • Hardship Evaluations (Hardship Immigration Petitions)
  • U-Visa Evaluations

How I Can Help

As a licensed clinical social worker, I can diagnose, comparably to a psychologist, mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and other traumatic symptoms, which can be used as supportive evidence for an immigration petition.

I am most appropriate when screening for trauma, emotional difficulties, and extreme hardships. I can look at, to what degree, a person could be impacted by a hardship and if they have any underlying mental health conditions as a result of those hardships.

As a first-generation, bilingual (Spanish/English) therapist I am equipped to understand the nuances of culture and the role they play in your immigrant story. This understanding drives my work with diverse clients; many of whom have never been in a therapy room.

I am well versed in clinical testing and incorporate platica as a therapeutic practice to facilitate discussion of your lived experience to articulate your immigration hardships.

Services are offered in-office and via teletherapy.
